Domaine de la Catherinette has belonged to the Jouve family for over a century. It lies in the Côtes du Rhône area in the village of Laval-Saint-Roman between the Ardeche Gorges and the Cèze River Valley.

Well protected from the dominant winds, the vines are planted on south-facing terraces of clay and limestone covered with small stones. This privileged position ensures optimal ripeness of the grapes and gives our vines the personality and character that distinguishes them from others.

The vineyards, witch spread over 25 hectares, are cultivated with the greatest respect for Nature and the Environment by the use of integrated viticulture (TERRA-VITIS charter): the working of the land, the use of the organic compost and no superfluous chemical products.

Philippe Jouve remains resolutely attached to Traditional viticulture which reflects the perfect harmony of the terroir and the aromatic potential of the different grape varieties on the domaine : viognier, roussanne, syrah, grenache, cinsault, carignan, clairette rose.

This diversity has brought about the complexity and finesse of our wines.
